How this tool works
The viewer reads invoice data from UBL XML and shows lines, VAT and totals. It checks arithmetic and data-related inconsistencies. A complete UBL or Peppol validation also requires checking the applicable schemas and business rules.
Common questions
Does a successful result mean Peppol approval?
No. Rekenbox checks data and arithmetic consistency, not full XSD or Peppol conformance. Use an appropriate validator for that purpose.
Can I open a credit note?
Yes. It supports UBL 2.1 Invoice and CreditNote XML up to 10 MB. An arbitrary XML format or PDF is not a supported UBL file.
Which details do you need?
- Choose a file — UBL 2.1 Invoice or CreditNote (XML), up to 10 MB.
Limits of this tool
- Technical check; the source file stays unchanged. A consistent export does not prove that all entries are correct or complete for tax purposes.
- Checks data and arithmetic consistency; does not certify Peppol or XSD conformance.
