How this tool works

Work backwards from target take-home income to required profit and revenue. Divide that revenue by hours you can actually invoice. Administration, sales work, holidays and sickness do not automatically generate billable hours. The model calculates what your assumptions require, not what the market will pay.

Common questions

Is €50 per hour enough for me?

That depends on billable hours, costs, taxes and target take-home income. Compare €50 with your own result; there is no universally sufficient rate.

Does this include pension and disability cover?

Not automatically. Include the reserves you need in costs or target net income and avoid double counting. The tool does not assess their tax treatment.
